Obituary for Eva Maria Galantai
Galantai, Eva Maria:
It is with sadness we announce the death of Eva GALANTAI (nee HORVATH). She died peacefully on Thursday, October 15 2020, at Grand River Hospital in Kitchener, at the age of 77. Born and married in Hungary, she was the beloved wife of Leslie for 54 years. She leaves behind her sister Ica; predeceased by her parents Miklos & Maria, and her brother Micky, all of Hungary. Loving mother to Randy (Brenda) and her grandchildren Matthew, Emily and Amy. She will be most remembered for her loving dedication and advocacy for her son Steven. She was the voice and strength for Steven, in the times when he was unable to do so himself. She not only taught Steven about family, but everyone else of what family meant by watching her actions with him.
Private Cremation has taken place with final resting place at Williamsburg Cemetery. Eva’s life will be celebrated privately at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467.
