It is with profound sadness that our family announces the passing of Erin Lord. Beloved daughter of Tina Coutts and the late Rob Lord. Dearly loved sister of Matthew, his wife Christina and daughter Tanesha.
Erin was loved by all of her family. She was a daughter, sister, aunt, niece, cousin and friend. She dances in the stars with all who went before her.
Lover of board games, connoisseur of music, searcher for laughter, reader, writer and artist extraordinaire. Warrior.
Erin loved the world and was compassionate and passionate for all who struggle. She had a deep sense of justice and was continuously learning.
Her life was supported by wonderful friendships, particularly the JRDE, a quartet of extraordinary young women who were her strength and her joy.
There is a hole ripped in the world.
To remember Erin donations can be made to the Women’s Recovery Programs at the House of Friendship, the Canadian Mental Health Association of Kitchener Waterloo or University Hospital in London, Ontario where an extraordinary team went above and beyond in their dedication to trying to save her. The family would also like to thank the team at Grand River Hospital who got her through the night and over to London.
