It is with great sadness that the family of Emil Fendert announces his passing on Friday, April 30, 2021 at the age of 86, 9 days before his 87th birthday.
Cherished husband of Helga Fendert for 60 years. Emil will also be lovingly remembered by his two children Eileen (Bruce) Holden and Richard (Laurie) Fendert; four grandchildren Timothy Grummett, Matthew (Emily) Grummett, Nicola (Mark) Fendert-Domanski, and Victoria (Jake) Fendert-Maloney; great-grandchild Roland Domanski; brothers Samuel (Hedwig) Fendert, and Karl (predeceased) (Betty Anne) Fendert; and sister Elise (Herman) Wilhelm (predeceased).
His family and farming were his life until his retirement when he became an avid fisherman, often out on the water well before the sun was up.
A memorial service will be held on Friday August 27, 2021 at 5:00pm. Friends and family who are unable to attend the service for Emil in person are welcome to join the service via livestream on the funeral home's website. https://www.henrywalser.com/live-streaming
