Goodman, Elizabeth Elena (nee Hunt):
Passed away peacefully, with her children by her side, on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at Grand River Hospital in Kitchener, ON at the age of 76. Loving mother of Stephen (Carla) and Carrah (D'Arcy) Johnston. Cherished Grandma to Sabrina, Owen, Francis, Adrian and Eleanor. Predeceased by parents, Norman and Elena, and brother, Allan.
Elizabeth was a wonderfully eclectic person who cared deeply about her family. She will be fondly remembered for her wit, sense of humour, proficiency with cryptic crosswords and memorable gift giving. She was an early trailblazer for women both with her career in the field of computer science and as a working mother. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her.
Elizabeth's family will receive relatives and friends from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 20, 2021 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Private cremation to follow with interment at Woodland Cemetery, London. Relatives and friends must RSVP through the funeral home website to attend visitation and face masks are mandatory.
