Colvin, Elizabeth nee Plunkett (Lockley) :
Passed away on July 13, 2022 at St. Mary's Hospital in Kitchener at the age of 77.
Elizabeth was born on August 8, 1944 in Peebles, Scotland to her beloved parents Alexandrina and Thomas Plunkett. She is predeceased by her father, Thomas, and her brother, Thomas.
Elizabeth was the cherished wife of James Colvin, the loving mother of Neill Lockley (Ryoko Asai) and Andrena Lockley-Brown (Emmanuel Brown), the adoring granny of Anderson and Estelle, and aunt of William and Andrew (Ellen) Plunkett.
She had a creative nature, and used her talents to do many interesting things including making hot-air balloons. What Elizabeth took most pride in was completing her apprenticeship in kilt-making upon returning to her home country of Scotland. Although she enjoyed her work, her greatest passion was her family. This was obvious to those she met, as they were her favourite topic of conversation. She selflessly devoted her life to their well-being, and care.
Elizabeth's family will celebrate her life privately both in Canada, and Scotland.
As she would say to her grandchildren: I love you to the moon and back.
