Obituary for Elias "Louis" Deligianis

Deligianis, Elias "Louis"

On July 13, 2022, in his 92nd year, our beloved Louis, father, husband, grandfather, uncle, brother and friend passed away peacefully surrounded by his family.

He will be missed by his sons Mel (Gina), Dino (Lisa) and Nik ( Linda) and his grandchildren Louie, Christina, Emily, Zoe and Floritsa.

He is the last of his siblings, Athanasios ( Roula), Evangelos (Popi), Yerasimos ( Hariklia) and Nitsa (Thanasi) whom he will now join with his beloved Floritsa.

Like many, he came to Canada for a better life. He did this with his wife Floritsa. He took pride in his family. He loved to sing and dance and enjoy life. He will be missed deeply by his family but they are comforted in knowing he is at peace now.

The family would like to thank the staff at Parkwood Mennonite home in Waterloo for their exceptional care and compassion they showed Louis during his stay there.

The family also thanks Father Anatoliy Bandura for his spiritual guidance and support during this difficult time.
