Frankie as a young boy

We have been Rees family friends since Frankie was a little boy. Actually, Boyd Rees was the best man at our wedding and his wife, Diane, was our Maid of Honour. We met each other when we were 13 and 14 years of age. We all had large families with many brothers and sisters. We used to take our younger brothers and sisters on picnics and would enjoy time together out at the Rees farm house where there were great parties. Those were simpler times when you made your fun with healthy activities and family get togethers. Frankie was always called Flick and we understood that was because he liked to flick an old light switch as a toy when he was a baby. I dont know if that is a true, accurate story but he will always be Flick to us. He was one of the quieter siblings at the time and very sweet and loveable. While we werent in the same age category as Frankie or many of each others siblings, we developed a close bond through our friendship with Boyd and Diane. Our love for the entire family grew and that love endures today. We lost our brother, Boyd a few years back and the pain is still there. Frankies passing brings a flood of great memories and deep emotions. God Bless the entire family. You have suffered many great losses and our hearts are heavy but filled with love for you.
