Passed peacefully away on October 05, 2020 at the Grand River Hospital (Kitchener, ON) at the age of 78.
Beloved husband of Floare Filip of almost 60 years. Cherished father of Angela (Marin), Adriana (Cornel) & Florina (Mike). Loving grandfather of: Michael (Mara), Melissa, Phillip, Joshua, Jason, David (Cristiana), Timothy, Johnathan & Jacob. Great-grandfather of: Malachi, Saloma, Anessa, Ariya & Elisa. Dimitru will be sadly missed by many family and friends in Canada, USA & Romania.
Dumitru's family will hold a private funeral service for him at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. The family invites you to join the funeral service for Dumitru via livestream on Friday October 9th at 7:00pm and on Saturday October 10th at 11:00am.Internment will take place at First Mennonite Church Cemetery (Kitchener, ON). Masks are mandatory.
