Condolence: "Allow yourself to gracefully exit situations that you've outgrown or dwelled on. Departure and loss doesn't have to be a catastrophic event that tears you apart. Remember the good times and take a deep breath and let go of your pain, and look forward to the beautiful memories yet to come."

Douglas John Back was a very special person, he had his insecurities that made it hard to be close to him, but he always loved us. I've never doubted his love for me even though it's been so long since I've see him. I wish that it didn't take such a horrible experience to bring us as a family closer, but I know it would make him so happy to know he was the one who did so. My Dad was a wonderful person who I will always cherish and miss greatly, but I know right now is my life and its short so I can't dwell on the past and feel guilty for not trying harder to be close with him. I am living my life not for him or with him, but because of him. He gave me the strength to get through the past few years without him and now I know he'll be holding my hand the rest of the way. I can't wait till I can tell my kids all about you, even if I only have a few memories. I want to thank you Doug, for the life you gave me and the love you showed me and all of us. You will always have a very special place in our hearts, rest peacefully and easy Dad we will see you in the next life and we'll be expecting French Toast. Ki
