Love Always

Always smiling, always friendly, always respectful, that is the Doug I remember and love so much. You had a way of making a person feel special and heard when you were in conversation with them. It was never just a "Hi how are you" in passing, it was your full attention and constant show of interest that would keep the occasion pleasant and interesting. You always called me Aunty and I was so very proud to be referred to in that context as it made me feel connected to you and your wonderful family. It does my heart good to know you felt the same connection. Thank you for the "gift" of You.
