Passed away peacefully, with family by her side, on Friday, May 7, 2021 at Columbia Forest Long Term Care in Waterloo at the age of 91. Beloved wife of the late John Rickert (deceased November 2, 1996). Loving mother of Judy Schulz (Robert), Dennis Rickert (Kristine), Dale Rickert (Renee) and Tim Rickert (Debbie). Cherished Grandma of Michael Schulz (Tracey), Christine Carr (Shaun), Garrett, Jillian, Joel, Tyler, Jenna, Clay and Haylee Rickert and Great Grandma of Madison and Braden Schulz and Tyler, Logan and Brody Carr. Dear sister of Ann Steffler (Robert - deceased), Shirley Stanley (Leo - deceased), Elizabeth Bauman (Glen - deceased), Marie Norris (Blair - deceased), Edward Halter (Marie - deceased) and Peter Halter (Michelle). Predeceased by brothers, George and Willie Halter and sister, Louise Warkentin.
Private cremation has taken place and a private interment service will be held at Parkview Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467.
