Barnard, Donna Ann:
Donna Ann Barnard (nee Clarke) of Kitchener, Ontario (and formerly Windsor) born on April 27, 1935, died peacefully in her sleep at Lisaard House on Saturday, May 7, 2016. Predeceased by her father Fredrick Clarke in 1994, her husband George Barnard, in 2004, and her mother Alice Clarke, in 2015. Loved by her five children and their spouses, George (Bonnie), Edward (Barb) and Tim (Diane) Barnard, Rebecca Hartman and Jennifer (Kyle) Devitt, and greatly missed by her 14 grand children and their spouses, George (Natalie) Barnard, Kimberley (Trevor) Riehl, Melinda (Kris) Becker, Devon Barnard, Daniel (Ashley) Barnard, Patrick (Stephanie) Barnard, Adam (Brittany) Barnard, Laura Barnard, Emily (Kevin) Darby, Lindsay (Jesse) Pitcher, Courtney (Kyle) Bristow, Timothy (Jess) Hartman, Liam and Grace Devitt, and Donna’s 13 great grand children, Jaden & Sage Barnard, Seth & Hunter Riehl, Ava and Ella Barnard, Pierce Barnard, Declan Darby, Jacob Pitcher, Cole & Caleb Bristow, and Easton & Chloe Hartman.
Our family’s thanks to Lisaard House staff for their kindness and support of our large (and sometimes loud) family. Thank you for the excellent PSW care from in particular, Belinda, Amanda and Vanessa.
Donna's family will receive relatives and friends from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. & 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 10, 2016 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. A Celebration of Donna's life will be held in the Chapel at Henry Walser Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. Cremation has taken place.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Lisaard House or the Donna Barnard Bursary would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
