McIlveen, Donald Kirkton (1934 - 2021)
It is with great sadness we announce our beautiful father and grandfather went home to be with the Lord on Good Friday, April 2, 2021. He passed away peacefully with his family by his side. He will always be remembered for his big heart and love he had for all for us. He was such a sweet man, and as much as we are going to miss him, we know he is in a better place. We will cherish every memory with smiles on our faces and love in our hearts. Our hearts are heavy. Beloved husband of the late Florence (2018). Loving father of Joel, Jeff (Debbie), Angela (Steve MacGregor) and Jason (Trish). Proud grandfather of Tyler, Chelsea (Rick), Josh (Monica), Wesley, Ryan and Nolan. Dear brother of Steve McIlveen. Special thanks to all the wonderful staff at the Palliative Care Unit at Freeport Hospital for your exceptional care.
