Obituary for Deb Lenzi
Lenzi, Deborah:
Passed away on Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at home surrounded by her family at the age of 57.
"Deb Lenzi, the most incredible wife of Frank, amazing mother to Briana (Benjamin) and Nicole, a loving sister (Al and Robert Sowa), cousin, niece, aunt and friend (too many to write). A woman who would put other Grammies’ (Darion and Kai) to shame, has taken her journey into light and love. We thank cancer for bringing love forward in the face of fear. She always chose love. If you have had the great pleasure of being in her presence, you have been truly blessed. She touched the lives and hearts of everyone she met and had a magical way of making people feel loved. She spent her life in service, teaching and constantly giving to others. In her final stages, she was forced to sit back and receive.
The divots on the golf course will be greatly reduced this year at Galt Country Club and the weight rack at GoodLife will carry a lighter load in her passing. Apothic reds’ stocks will surely be down in the coming years and popcorn at the movies will be plentiful. Unity will have one less smiling face and warm hug to greet the congregation. The earth has one less beautiful person grazing through the forest, or down the beach in Marco, watching the birds, humming to 70’s tunes and driving through the country. Her journey continues. And so it is...
Deborah's family will receive relatives and friends from 1:30 p.m. - 2:45 p.m. on Saturday, July 13, 2019 at Unity of Kitchener (2631 Kingsway Dr, Kitchener, ON, N2C 1A7) followed by a Memorial Service at 3:00 p.m. A Celebration of Life will take place at 4:30 p.m. at the The Galt Country Club (750 Coronation Blvd., Cambridge, ON, N1R 8E3) - family, friends and children are all very welcome to attend!
As expressions of sympathy, donations to Unity of Kitchener would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
