Obituary for Deborah Elaine Davies

Davies, Deborah:

After battling cancer and many other health issues Debbie passed away peacefully on March 4th, 2021 at the age of 72.

Debbie (nee Wilhelm) was a devoted wife to Bob. Loving mother to Peter (Lilly) and Danielle (Jo). Cherished gramma to Aiden, Lucy, Logan and Morgan. Dear sister of Mary (Terry), Susan (the late Ron 2011). Aunt to many nieces and nephews.

As we mourn her loss we know that she will be watching over all of us. We are comforted knowing she is happily reunited with her mom, dad, and all of her loving family members who have passed before her and are waiting for her at the gates. Having left her earthly mobility issues behind we know she is running around with all of her fur babies that are with her in heaven.

Debbie’s greatest joy in life was her family. Debbie was a palliative nurse who spent her career bringing comfort to many.

Special thank you to Dr. Takacs, Dr. Moolman, Student Doctor Yasna, Nurse Kim, Jenna and the rest of the wonderful staff at Grand River Hospital who took such great care of her.

A private family interment will take place at Williamsburg Cemetery.

As expressions of sympathy, in honour of her love for animals, donations to Kitchener Stray Cat Rescue https://kitchenerstraycatrescue.org/, or your , Ice Foundation K9 Rescue https://icefoundationk9rescue.ca/donate/, or your favourite animal rescue would be appreciated by the family (Cards available at the Henry Walser Funeral Home or by calling 519-749-8467).
