Condolence From: Hans and Dawna Koopman
Condolence: Regretfully not able to attend today. This note coming from St. Lucia, but thinking of Lambert & Vicki, of Florence & Ivan and of Cameron as well who we met too long ago in Kitchener for him to recall. But Dave was in my Stouffville High class and his almost daily access to his father's green Chev pick-up was fun for one like me so averse to cross-country running! Eventually l was spotted hiding in his trunk bed by coach Rehill, to run the entire circuit again!. That was for 2 senior years of High School. But Dawna had known the Yake family much longer than I, i.e. at Gormley church. We had great times at Youth Group and that early exposure to the Good News of the Gospel resulted in us all safely "In Christ". So with that eternal pardon personally applied, we're guaranteed to see Dave (without handicap) in Glory! Hallelujah.

Condolence From: Carol Adams (Wideman)
Condolence: My deepest sympathy to the Yake family on Dave's passing. I have many good, long ago memories of times spent with Dave, a dear friend of Ed's (Wideman) throughout their youth, also our best man.
Sadly, I am unable to attend his memorial service. Thinking of all of you as you celebrate Dave's life.

Condolence: My thoughts and prayers for God’s comfort and peace go out the the family and friends of David.
I can see him singing in heaven’s choir right along side my husband Bill in the bass section. I always enjoyed talking to Dave. He was such a social person.

Condolence From: Clayton & Joan Mizen
Condolence: Our thoughts and prayers are with the family at this trying time. First time I met him he was installing a car bar in his 57 chev at Kensen enterprises in Kitchener. Enjoyed connecting with him as he sang with the Watchmen over the years.
As master of ceremonies at our wedding in 1972, we enjoyed his love and humour. Will look forward to joining him in the heavenly choir.
