Christmas Lights

Every year in November David puts up Christmas lights all around the house and I can see them from my living room window. Depending upon the weather he would hang them up towards the end of November and each year I would ask him if he was going to turn them on right away, to which he replied December 1st is when they go on!! I asked if he could be bribed with my Christmas cookie baking to turn them on earlier. He would say again they go on December 1st and not before. However, just after he would get them hung up, they always seemed to come one night for a short time before December 1st. The next morning I would take a tin of Christmas cookies over to him. We all just chuckled!! You are going to be missed by everyone.
