Knorr, David:

Passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by family, on Thursday, September 15, 2022 in his 87th year.

Loving, caring and best friend of wife Joan (nee Heideman) for 64 years.
Much loved and devoted father of Alan and his partner Carole, and their son Ryan.
Predeceased by his parents, Kathleen Pfaff and Albert Knorr, and brother John.
Will be sadly missed by in-laws, Ron Heideman and Gail Heideman.
Loving uncle to many nieces and nephews and their families.
Predeceased by his mother and father-in-law, Gerine and Herbert Heideman, brother and sisters-in-law, Arlene (Charles) Bieth, Audrey (Gerald) Moser, Reta (Alex) Elchert, Betty (Wilfred) Reiner, Doris Heideman, Herb (Shirley) Heideman, Larry (Carol) Heideman, Patricia Heidemen and Bob Heideman.

Dave was a longtime employee of B.F. Goodrich and recently at Broda Seating until his retirement in 1999. He was a lifelong member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church, serving on the church council. Dave enjoyed golfing, working around the cottage and was a lifelong season ticket holder of the Kitchener Rangers.

Special thanks to the PSWs who day after day provided outstanding care to both Dave and Joan.

Dave's family will receive relatives and friends from 2:30 to 3:15 p.m. on Saturday, September 17, 2022 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467, with a service in the chapel at 3:30 p.m. Reception to follow. Interment at Memory Gardens Cemetery.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Alzheimer Society of Waterloo Wellington would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
