Daily Text Blasts from Dave

I have had the great fortune to know Dave through Cheryl and her family for many years. This past year I had been privileged to be included in Papas Daily Text blasts or what is fondly referred to as the corny joke of the day. Dave was a man who thoughtfully took the time each day, no matter what he was dealing with, to reach out to his kids and grandkids, to connect, to offer them a chuckle, a smile, a gentle nudge, or an out-and-out groan. With all that Dave had on his social calendar and his volunteer schedule, he always had his family in the forefront of his mind. I looked forward to the daily texts from Dave and during this time I learned many priceless pearls of wisdom from this great man; one of which seems fitting: You never appreciate what you have until its gone Toilet paper is a good example :) Thanks Dave, I do appreciate you and I am grateful for all the smiles you sent and for including me as a part of your family. The world wont be the same without you in it. Sue Foster
