Tatsis, Chrisoula - February 20, 1935
Chrisoula (Chris), our beloved sister, Thia, great-aunt and friend, passed away peacefully at the age of 84 surrounded by her family, on Tuesday, November 12, 2019. She is pre-deceased by her brothers Yiorgo and Vangeli’s and will be dearly missed by her brothers Dimitri (Jimmy) Tatsi and Panayioti Tatsi and her sisters Jane Dimoulas, Martha Diamantis and Maria Siamopoulos. Those whose lives were most impacted by her immense love, are her devoted nieces and nephews: Popy, Paul, Cathy, Leo, Dimitri, Hristo, Katina, Georgia, Leonidas, Katina, Lambro, Maria, Niko, Leonidas, Theo and Kathy. She will be fondly remembered by all her great-nieces and nephews, here and in Greece. Heartfelt thanks go to the dedicated staff of Norfolk General Hospital for their compassionate efforts. Instead of flowers, the family is requesting only cash donations for the maintenance and restoration of Chrisoula‘s favourite little family village church, Agios Nikolaos in Variades Greece. Donations may be made at the Henry Walser Funeral Home. Chrisoula's family will receive relatives and friends from 9-11 a.m. on Monday, November 18, 2019 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St. Kitchener (519) 749-8467. Funeral Service at Sts. Peter and Paul Greek Orthodox Church, 527 Bridgeport Rd., Kitchener, on Monday at 12 noon. Interment Parkview Cemetery (around 1:15 p.m.), 335 University Ave., Waterloo.
