Croteau, Charlemagne "Charlie":
Passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at home at the age of 90.
Predeceased by his wife Annette (1991) and great-grandson Joshua (2020).
Loving father of Louise (Marty) and Diane.
Cherished grandpa of Andrew (Jessica), Robert (Ashley), Adam and Nicki (Dave); great-grandpa of Andrew, Anthony, Robert, Abigail, Olivia and Owen; and great-great-grandpa of Jaxon.
Survived by his spouse Lynn, and her children Rob, Jason (Tess), Krystal.
Loving Papa to Amber, Crystal, Alyssa, Joseph, Sierra and Noella.
Will be missed by many nieces and nephews in Ontario and Quebec.
Charlie had a passion for hockey, coaching up until the age of 70. He was an avid fan of the Montreal Canadiens. Charlie loved family get togethers and could always be found BBQing. In his spare time, he would enjoy going bowling or getting together with friends to play euchre.
Charlie's family will receive relatives and friends from 12 - 12:45 p.m. on Saturday, March 25th, 2023 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467, with a Memorial Service in the chapel at 1 p.m. Reception to follow.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Alzheimer Society Canada would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
