Obituary for Carolyn May Watson

Carolyn May Watson
Carolyn May Watson (nee Wellbelove):

Passed away peacefully surrounded by Bryan (husband), Jeffrey (son), and Paula (daughter) at her side at Grand River Hospital, Kitchener, Ontario on Tuesday May 5, 2020 at the age of 73.

Born February 18, 1947 in Winnipeg, daughter to the late George and Gladys Wellbelove. She was predeceased by her brother William (Bill), form Vancouver.

Carolyn moved to Montreal in early 60's, where she met the love of her life, Bryan Watson. They married on the last day of Expo 1967 in Montreal. She was a devoted wife and Bryan's best friend.

Carolyn was a loving mother to Jeffrey and Paula (Michael Wagner). She was a great supporter, always provided her unconditional love and just a great mom.

She will be sadly missed by her niece Rhiannon Wellbelove-Rough (Ben) from Vancouver and the many dear friends she has made in her life.

Carolyn was a fantastic Nana to her 4 grandchildren: Jacob, Nathan, Lauren, and Conrad Wagner. Her love was endless and never let a day go by without showing them what they meant to her. She enjoyed being a part of their lives with outings together at resorts, family reunions, playing in the back yard and having them over for sleepovers. She just loved spending time with them. These four energetic children always had a great smile for their Nana and loved her tremendously. They will miss her dearly.

The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to the nurses and doctors at Grand River Hospital.

Cremation will take place with interment at Williamsburg Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Grand River Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).

Arrangements entrusted to the Henry Walser Funeral Home (519-749-8467). Visit www.henrywalser.com for Carolyn's memorial.

Until we meet again, we will all cherish the extraordinary and simple beauty that was Carolyn's kind and loving heart.
