The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Carolyn Starchuk can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolences

Condolence From: Patrick Guttin
Condolence: Just seeing this now some 4 years later. I got to thinking about Carolyn and Vic earlier this evening and thought I'd check online, have so many great childhood memories of them, along with Maria and Jon on the boats (Big Red & Pookie) in Penetang and all the great sails together, waterfights, pizza Friday nights while we were all setting up. Saddened to see Carolyn and Vic have passed, my dad John died suddenly in 1988, his wife Kay remarried and lives in Pennsylvania. Carolyn, thanks for your constant smile and soft good nature, as a child, I drew towards it. God Bless!

Condolence From: Carolanne Forster
Condolence: Carolyn was the personification of sweetness. I remember she accompanied several of us ladies, my mother and I, on a shopping trip to Elora in the 1980s. In the car gets my 40something cousin, sporting black leather pants and looking as much like a gorgeous style icon as anyone in Hollywood. Move over the stars of her generation, Carolyn had beauty, style and even better, a truly kind nature and graciousness of spirit. We will miss her.

Condolence: Dear Leisa, Lynne, Maria and Jon and Rosemarie;

In this world we come across many different types of people; your mom, she was a gift. She and your dad hired me to work at Vic Starchuk and Associates with little to no experience. Your mom believed in me, she guided me and helped not only with work but in believing in who I was and could be. She so loved each and every one of you so much. Each of you had a special place in her heart for each of you were unique and she used to say how much she learned from each of you. Her priority was always her family. Her strength gave others strength; she loved life! Her smile was contagious!! She has left such an imprint on all who she has encountered. Her beauty, energy and authenticity will forever live on in all who were blessed in knowing her. I know that I am a better person because of her. Rosemarie, she spoke of you often as it so happened your husband Ron was one of my teachers. It truly is a small world. Please accept my deepest sympathy and may the wonderful memories you shared embrace all of you and help you through this difficult time. Always, Ildi
