I had the honor of belonging to Carey's "chosen ones" and served as his tutor for freshman chemistry at UWaterloo. I am really saddened by his passing and my condolences go this family. I hope we can carry on the inspiration we felt from Carey's presence and follow his influence as a positive force for future generations.
