I met Cal and Jill over twenty years ago through our businesses in Shaklee. I have so many wonderful memories with them and the kids when they lived on Pushlinch Lake. My son Ryan and I would go for weekends and had so much fun. Cal and I would have microphones and sing harmony to Lyon Eyes by the Eagles and Jill would sit and laugh and enjoy every minute. My son Ryan said to me that Cal and Blake were very huge influences in his love of music. Cal introduced Ryan to Jimmy Hendrix and my grandson;s name is Logan Hendrix. Wonderful family and I miss my good friend Jill so much. She was a treasure. So sorry for you loss Lisa, Blake and Michelle. Mom and Dad will be dancing once again. Hugs Deb and Ryan Walkland

Cal and Jill the most memorable Life group i have attended and his generosity ,advice and help when i was moving out of my home will never be forgotten. His competition with his brother to provide the best birthday ever was so rewarding especially when i got to participate by joining the gokart races in Erbsville was a blast. Dear Lisa and family, We are so sorry to hear about your dad, Cal. Our deepest condolences go out to you and your family. Cal was such a fun-loving person with a smile that would light up the room! The family pictures that you posted certainly show that you have so many wonderful memories of your dad. His memory and the memory of your mom, Jill, will always live on in your hearts and now they are both together in the loving arms of God. Sending you lots of love and hugs during this very difficult time! Love, Laurie & Pavel & family, xoxo

I met the Niemi family through their youngest daughter, Michelle, at a local Church.

Sharing a strong Christian faith, along with a unique sense of silly and sarcastic humor helped us hit things off really easy.

Friendship turned into something more when I asked Cal and Jill permission to date Michelle. The Niemi family welcomed me as one of their own from being invited to dinner to vacation and family functions.

A couple years later, I joined the family after asking Cal and Jill's blessing to marry Michelle.

Cal and Jill never held back their encouragement and support for Michelle and I as we began our life's journey together from years of expensive fertility struggles, buying our first home, business ventures (Photography/Videography + Michelle's hair styling career) and planning for our future.

Cal got to meet our two miracle babies, born 3 years apart and always expressed his enthusiasm for baby #3 on the way.

Cal and Jill were powerful spiritual mentors, guiding and building much of our Christian beliefs.

Of all the photos and videos we've taken over the years, our children and our children's children will come to know who you were and honour your memory.

Thank you for changing my life by blessing me with one.
