Canavan, Brett:

With much sadness, we announce the death of my son, our brother, our uncle, and our friend, Brett Canavan. Brett passed peacefully June 5, 2019 at the age of 59.

For most of Brett's life, he managed through the challenges of mental health and more recently with several ailments including heart disease, diabetes, and cancer.

Throughout this past year, Brett became a valiant warrior taking on every obstacle he faced with tremendous courage, calmness, dignity, and defiance.

He is survived and will be missed by his Mom (Dianne), siblings Blair (Chrissie) and Tracey, nieces Haley (Pat) Lisa, Lena and Taylor, and nephew Cameron.

He will also be greatly missed by his cousins, his best friend (Bruce), and many other lifelong friends.

Cremation has taken place and a celebration of life will be announced within the coming weeks.
