It is with great sadness that the family of Bradley James Watson announce his passing on Sunday, November 19, 2023 at the age of 62 after a long battle with cancer.


Brad will be lovingly remembered by his wife Devi Watson (nee Raghunath); children Tara (Jamie) Covey (nee Watson), Erin (Paul) Watson, Joshua (Raewyn) Watson, Ben Watson; grandchildren Justin Covey, Abigail Watson, Ella Covey, Brianna Watson, Charlotte Watson; in-laws Harold and Ruby Raghunath; step-sister Sherry Mueller, step-brother Jack Hummell and many other family and friends.


Brad is predeceased by his parents James Robert Watson and Joyce Margaret Hummell (nee Wilkinson); sister Cynthia Lee Watson, brother-in-law Satesh Kumar Raghunath, step-sister Krista Hummell and granddaughter Madison Grace Covey.


Brad started his career at Custom Trim in the 1980's where he spent over fifteen years before transitioning to AFX Industries in 1999. He was fortunate to love his work and was a dedicated employee throughout his professional career.


Brad was a man who loved his family first and foremost. Through his actions and words, he made a lasting impact, leaving an indelible imprint on our hearts and minds. Brad's legacy is not merely a memory but a guiding light, urging us to embrace the values he held dear and continue to cherish the bonds that defined our family.


Special thanks to the Grand River Cancer Centre, specifically Dr. DeCarolis and to Waterloo Hospice, Dr. Yew, and the support staff, with special mention to nurse Jackie for taking care of Brad in his final days.


Brad's family will receive relatives and friends from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, November 24, 2023 and from 2:00-3:15 p.m. on Saturday, November 25, 2023 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener.
