Obituary for Bobby Roeder

Robert (Bobby) Roeder:

Surrounded with love Bobby passed away in the evening on Thursday, July 27 at Sunbeam Centre Vos House in Kitchener at the age of 67.

Beloved son of Alice Roeder and the late Kurt Roeder (1975).

Much loved by his family and especially Aunt Maryanne Szuck, the story reader. Also much loved by his Tradewinds Group Home family and caregivers.

Bobby lived at home until age 8, then lived an institution life at Rygiel Home in Hamilton and Huronia Regional Centre in Orillia.

In 1996 Bobby was transferred to Tradewinds Group Home and lived there for 27 years.

Bobby`s favourite things were music, stuffie toys, storybooks, socializing and Tim Horton`s coffee. He liked routine and order. Everybody loved Bobby.

Alice and Maryanne express their heartfelt thanks to Tradewinds caregivers, Sunbeam staff, Dr. Dingnam and Pastor Eleanor Epp-Stobbe for their love, care and support.

In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations to Sunbeam Community & Developmental Services or charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.

Bobby's family will receive relatives and friends from 10-10:45 a.m. on Wednesday, August 2, 2023 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467.
