Passed away on Sunday, June 2, 2019 at Lanark Heights Long Term Care at the age of 93.
Betty will be sadly missed by her sister Lissy Phillips, brother Dan Nelson, nieces Karen Bieth (Bruce), Anna Jennings, and Rosemary Jacobsen. Predeceased by sisters Christa, Mary and Margaret. Betty was a kind and gentle soul who was much loved and is now at peace. She was a wife, teacher, physio aid, a lover of dogs, flowers, an avid reader, a puzzle whiz and a strong believer in faith. The family of Betty would like to express their utmost thanks to the staff on Pine at Lanark Heights Long Term Care and to all those who had contact with her these past 3 years. Our gratitude for your loving care and compassion, especially over the past few weeks has been greatly appreciated. Cremation has taken place.
