McGuire, Audrey Mary Ann (formerly Jacobi, nee Scharlach)
Passed away peacefully into the arms of the Lord with family by her side, at St. Mary's General Hospital, Kitchener, on Saturday, May 18th, 2019 at the age of 89. Beloved wife of Ronald for 47 years. Loving mother of Bev and Bob Westphal, Carolyn and Rick Bridge, Neil and Paula Jacobi, and Keith and Patty Forget. Much loved Nanna of Michael and Sheri, Ryan and Samantha, Michelle and Dylan, Adam and Neely, Beth and Steve, and Zack and Kaitlin. Proud Great Nanna of Elizabeth, Aliya, Addely, Cayden, Christian, and Carson. Audrey will be fondly remembered by Colleen McGuire and her family. Predeceased by her brother Jerry and sister Marj. She was loved by many nieces and nephews, friends and coworkers.
Audrey's family will receive relatives and friends from 2 p.m. - 4 p.m. & 7 p.m. - 9 p.m. on Thursday, May 23rd, 2019 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467 and cremation will take place. An urn burial will be held at Mount Hope Cemetery, Kitchener on Friday, June 7, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. followed by a Celebration of Audrey's life at The Waterloo Legion, 316 Marsland Dr., Waterloo.
In lieu of flowers, donations to the Diabetes Canada would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
