Steinberg, Arvella (formerly Meier, nee Litt):
Passed away peacefully, with family by her side on Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at St. Mary's General Hospital, at the age of 79.
Beloved wife of Richard "Bud" Steinberg for 24 years and the late Franklin Meier (1993).
Loving mother of Tina Steinberg (Matt), Kim Siegel (Brad) and Paul Meier (Laura).
Cherished Grammie of Melanie (Matt), Daniel (Lindsay), Dempsey (Carly), Andrea (Nick), Riley, George and proud GG of Margot and Walter.
Dear sister of Joyce Murray, Shirley Warchol (Chet), Dorothy Shannon and the late Joanne Bobbie; sister-in-law of Ron Bobbie, Joyce Cruickshank and Shirley Steinberg.
Will be missed by John, Lisa, Marty, Chris, Andy, Geoff and the entire Steinberg family.
Will be remembered by many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Arvella was preceded in death by her parents Herman and Verda Litt, and her step-daughter Jan.
Nothing was more important to Arvella than her family. She was a gifted seamstress, her work admired by all. Arvella was a charter member of Christ Lutheran Church, Waterloo, sang in the church choir and served on the altar guild.
Arvella's family will receive relatives and friends from 2 to 4 p.m. & 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, July 29, 2022 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 30, 2022 at Christ Lutheran Church, 445 Anndale Road, Waterloo.
For those planning to attend, it is requested that masks are worn.
