Peacefully after a lengthy illness on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at Sunnyside Home, Kitchener at the age of 91 years. Beloved husband of the late Elisabeth (2016). Loving father of Reinhart and Erwin (Ernie) and his wife Ginny. Cherished Opa of Kimberley (Chris) Veevers, Armand, Bridget (Rolf) Gutknecht, Timothy (Stacey), Adam and great-grandfather of Hayden, Summer, Ex, Emma, Lillian, Oliver, Josie, Ellie and Bastian. Also survived by his sister Lilly Gallagher and brother Albert Kuenzler. Private cremation arrangements entrusted to the Henry Walser Funeral Home, (519) 749-8467. A gathering to celebrate Art's life will be held at a later date. As expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers, donations to the Sunnyside Home Foundation or the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
