Anna came to Canada with her husband Lou and her oldest son Viktor in January 1975. Coming from the main city in Croatia (Zagreb) she had difficulties adapting to life in Canada. With her barely knowing English her husband was left to help with this transition. Anna created such a beautiful life in this city and filled everyone’s hearts with happiness.
Anna had a lifelong passion for the outdoors especially camping at Killbear Park, and most recently spending time at their trailer. Anna enjoyed TV Bingo, her scratch tickets and spending time with loved ones. Anna also enjoyed travelling the world visiting the most recognizable places in the United States, Yellowstone Park, Hoover Dam, Las Vegas, and Arizona.
Anna will be missed and remembered by many relatives, family, and friends, especially from Croatia.
Anna's family would like to thank the doctors and nurses at St. Mary’s Hospital Intensive Care Unit for their compassionate care.
