Philippou, Andreas "Sweetie":
With his family at his side, Andreas passed away peacefully at home at the age of 85.
Beloved husband of 60 years to Yiannoulla.
Loving father of Zoe (Paul), Electra, Chrystalla (Timothy).
Cherished Pappou of George (Ivana), Alexandra, Andreas, Joanna, Joshua, and Elizabeth.
Loving Great-Pappou of Brianna, Samantha, and Pavlos.
Survived by his sisters Chrysoula, Pitsa, brother Odysseas (Maroulla), sisters and brothers-in-law Victoria, Andreas (Sofia), and Elli (Panayiotis). Cherished uncle to many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by Chrystalla (sister), Eftychia (sister), and brothers-in-law, Giorgos, Andreas, and Charalambos.
Andreas worked for many years as a flooring installer at Royal City Carpets, Alexanian's, and his own business, "Andy's Carpets".
Relatives and friends are welcome to visit with the Philippou family at the Henry Walser Funeral Home on Monday, April 1, 2024 from 6-8 p.m. with Trisagion at 7 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at Sts. Peter and Paul Greek Orthodox Church, 527 Bridgeport Road, Kitchener on Tuesday, April 2, 2024 at 1:30 p.m. Interment Parkview Cemetery. The Memorial meal will be held in the church hall following the services.
As expressions of sympathy, donations can be made to Grand River Hospital Foundation - Cancer Centre and Sts. Peter and Paul Greek Orthodox Church.
