Passed away peacefully, but unexpectedly on Monday, March 6, 2023 at the age of 77.
Beloved wife of Jose for 52 years.
Loving mother of Kelly (John) Frank and the late Fatima (2015).
Cherished grandma of Cole.
Dear sister of the late Alice (Domingos) Tavares and the late Manuel Antonio (Olinda) Costa.
Almerinda enjoyed crocheting and sewing, but nothing was more important than spending time with her family.
Almerinda's family will receive relatives and friends from 5 to 8 p.m. on Friday, March 10, 2023 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 11, 2023 at Our Lady of Fatima Church, 300 Simeon Street, Kitchener. Interment at Williamsburg Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Kidney Foundation of Canada or the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
