Obituary for Allen Briski

Briski, Allen Joseph

Passed away on Monday, December 18th, 2023 at home at the age of 52.

Loving father of Anthony Briski (Megan Schuck).

Dear brother of Kimberley Pickering (Sean) and Christian Briski (Billi).

He is also missed by his nephews Mason, Hudson & Riel.

Dear nephew of Edo (Ivanka) Briski, Maria Ivancic, Nick (Marica) Briski and Josephine Kovacevic.

Predeceased by his parents Drago (2022) and Branka (2019) Briski and his godfather Tom Ivancic (2013).

Throughout Allen's life his attention to detail and many skill-sets were always something that he prided himself on. He was intelligent, caring, full of love, and had inspiring perseverance.

Allen often referred to himself as a 'jack of all trades', but never formally trained, yet the quality of his work was evident in his craftsmanship. From welding and fabrication, to framing, drywalling/taping, wiring and assembling any structure, fixing cars (Ford trucks) and bikes, cooking, creating his own recipes, and working on anything that needed TLC.

Allen's love of nature and the outdoors was clear to those who were lucky enough to know him. Whether it was camping, fishing, hunting, hiking with his many dogs, searching for wildlife, or stargazing by a well stoked fire. All these passions, including his deep love of his Croatian heritage were shared with his son. Allen loved being a dad and it was important to pass down his knowledge, interests, and traditions as a father. His happiest moments throughout his life were spent with his son, parents, siblings, and cousins.

We love you so much Allen. Thank you for your wisdom, love and sharing your excellent taste in music! Rest in peace.
