Although we were separated by 11 years of age I remember Allan as a kind and cheerful cousin whenever we were together. His devotion to Church, Scouts and Legion speaks for the kind of man that he was. I hope that peace and joy return to his family and friends – Al would want no less. Brian Hohner

We want to give our sincere condolences to Michael & Nicole and the rest of the family. Al was married to my cousin Lynn, and he was always so congenial & easy going. I enjoyed talking with him and hearing his stories. He had a store of knowledge on so many issues and was glad to meet people everywhere.
I last saw him when I went with him to visit his mother in Trinity Residence, and than he went with me to see my sister Jean in the Care Home next door. He was so cheerful and thoughtful as we spent the time with both of them.
It was so delightful to see his total devotion to Lynn during the long period of care he provided for her at home, then in the LTC also. He always talked with everyone down the hall as he walked around with Lynn, and seemed to bring cheer to the staff and the residents alike.
We know he is safe in the care of our loving heavenly Father now & forever.
We pray for God's blessing on all of your families. ... Bruce & Helen Snyder

I worked with Al at Division 3 for many years. He always had a joke to tell, was kind and always ready to answer a question if you had one. Al will be missed. My sympathies to the family. Janet Eade

I have fond memories of working with Allan at the Kitchener Aud. He was always smiling and ready to lend a hand to patrons coming to events and hockey games. He was also supportive of his team mates and even took the extra effort to plan activities and gatherings at the Waterloo Region Police Club. His stories, positive energy and smile will be missed. My condolences to the family and Thanks for sharing Allan with the Aud team.

I have so many memories of Al at Everton campsite and sixers camps. Cub camps campfires, Gilwell reunions - telling stories about Cubs and our families. I will miss your big smiles and bear hugs.
