Condolence: My mother sent out Sensei Few's obituary from the Saskatoon Star Phoenix. I am very sorry to learn of his death and your family's loss. Sensei taught me judo at the Sasktoon YMCA when I was a lippy, snot-nosed grade IX student back in the late 1960's. He taught me judo as well as self respect, respect for others and the self-confidence I sorely needed. I had written him a letter when he was awarded his Godan and he wrote me back to ask how I was doing. Take care of youselves and know that Sensei Few had a great impact on many other young judokas all over Saskatchewan.

Condolence: I am sorry for your loss. Allan Few was a man who had and displayed great enthusiasm for 'life' and 'Judo'. He was my Sensei in Judo for 33 years. Allan was always the optimist and lived life fully. He always loved learning new things and 'cherished' his friends and family; always evident as he was always excited to see you. A great mentor and role model who will be missed. Truly a man who lived life well. His journey has ended here and now is on a new journey. My heart-felt condolences and prayers of strength for Helen and family.

Condolence: Helen, Nora, Laurie, Guy and families, I am so very sorry to hear of Allan’s passing. I have such wonderful memories of him I know he will be dearly missed and to think that such a warm & loving family man that was always “there” for everyone, would die without his family at his side just breaks my heart. Take care Helen, stay safe and know that many, many people are thinking of you and sending hugs at this sash time. Love to all Val

Condolence: I hold the loveliest memory of meeting Alan and Helen in Parry Sound five years ago. They made quite an impression on me; the warmth, and joie de vivre exuded by the whole family, as well as the shared sense of humour - what an incredible family, was the general consensus. I am so deeply sad for your loss. Indeed our loss, as anyone who had the distinct pleasure to meet Alan grieves with you.

Condolence: Helen and Family: We were so saddened this morning to read about Al's passing. He was a lovely man, always sharing an interesting tidbit of news or instilling his wisdom on a large variety of topics. We are forever grateful for his helping mom with her yard word and being such a good neighbour over the years. We hope that you, Helen and family, keep his memory forever close to your heart.

Condolence: To Helen & Family. Our thoughts are with you. Spent many memorable times with Al both on and off the mats doing judo, teaching classes, riding motorcycles and tipping back the odd beer and shot of apricot brandy. Allan was a master instructor and you could not help but learn from him. Just for the record: Covid-19 did not defeat Mr. Few, he was just done showing it a thing or two before he decided to head off on a bigger adventure. Soremade Sensei The Pattison's
