Condolence: I just learned of Aline's death when I called George for news. Aline was one of my oldest friends. We worked together at McGill University for six weeks in Nov-Dec 1967 and became friends for life. I left Canada in 1994 but I saw Aline and George every time I returned for a visit. She was such a good person. My heart goes out to George and everyone else who is saddened by her loss.

Condolence: It was the summer of ’67 when we three girls – 21/22 years old – decided to travel across Canada to California. We left Northern Ontario in Barb’s tiny blue car – when gas was 32 cents a gallon. Barb drove all the way there and back as neither Aline nor I could drive. We passed through Ontario – the Prairies – through Alberta’s hoodoos and the Rockies to sit on Kits Beach in Vancouver – dipping our toes in the Pacific. Then our real adventure began as we reached our final destination – San Francisco. We forgot to wear some flowers in our hair but we did experience the psychedelic lights without inhaling – standing on the corner of Haight and Ashbury Streets. Heading home through the northern States – and Montana’s badlands – was an adventure that I so fondly remember as Aline and Barb were the best friends to share this with.
And so, George, it is with much sadness as I share your grief. You and Aline shared a lifetime of memories together – the laughter – the delights – the love – the caring for one another.
May God’s healing love, His comfort and His grace cover you like cherry blossom petals in Spring.

Condolence: My deepest sympathies to the family. Aline was my cousin and although she was older than I and did not see her very often, I would see her at family reunions in Kapuskasing. She was a very sweet person and I remember that she was always smiling. She seemed like a very happy soul. I was very sad to hear of her passing. A donation will be made in her memory.

Condolence: Aline was my mother's dining partner at AR Goudie. I really enjoyed getting to know her - she had a great sense of humour and loved chatting about music and movie trivia. My sincere condolences to her family.

Condolence: Aline was a sweet and generous soul who I've known since I was a baby. I'll always cherish the family trips we took to Port Dover with Aline and George -- not too mention the dozens of Christmases we shared together. I am grateful to have known her.

Condolence: Aline was my longtime friend from the sixties, having met at McMaster University and both active with SUPA. She travelled with me and another friend when we drove thousands of miles across Canada, west to Vancouver and south to San Franscisco and back to Toronto. Four of us had a wonderful reunion a few years ago to share stories of our adventures together. She was the most wonderful of travelling companions and generous with her humour and love. We will miss our visits with Aline and George.
