Vieregge, Alfred:
Passed away peacefully, with family by his side, on Thursday, October 10th, 2019 at his home at the age of 91. Beloved husband to the late Fern (2018) for 57 years. Loving father to Richard Vieregge (Jill) and Linda Vieregge (Barb) and step father to Gail Piitz (predeceased) and Philip Piitz (Heidi). Proud grandpa of Jonathan, Daniel, Kate (Francois), Tim, Jessica and Travis and great-grandfather of Felix and Annabelle.
Arrangements entrusted to the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Private cremation has taken place and a private family interment will be held at Woodland Cemetery at a later date.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Hospice of Waterloo Region would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
