Passed away, peacefully, on Monday, January 27, 2020 at Grand River Hospital at the age of 89. Beloved husband of Doreen for 65 years. Loving dad to Sandra Pritchett (Larry), Terry, Diane Champion (Joe), Gary (Babs), Darren, Dwayne (Pauline). Cherished Poppy to Stephen (Rebecca), Kelly (Dwayne), Kent, Charlene (Gerard), Melissa (Trevor), Jennifer, Alex (Amy), Nicholas (Jenny), Jessica, Janeen, Justin and great-poppy to 12. Dear brother to Wilfred (Edith) and Garfield (Ettie). Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, Mary and Hubert, brothers, Roland and Cecil, sister, Meta Barnett and granddaughter, Kimberly.

Alex's family will receive relatives and friends from 6:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 30, 2020 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. The Funeral Service will be held at Kitchener Gospel Temple, 9 Conway Drive, Kitchener, on Friday, January 31, 2020 at 11:00 a.m. Interment at Memory Gardens followed by a reception.
