Condolences

Condolence From: Jim Ruta
Condolence: Carol, I am saddened to have just learned of Al’s passing almost three years late. Forgive me. Al was my first recruit at Mutual Life’s Agency 46 in Kitchener in 1982. He was always a pleasure to work with and taught me as much as I taught him. He also showed me how it was to love the Lord, I lesson I have with me to this day. I understand he had a great management career at Mutual after I left. He cared and I know that made the difference. May God rest him and comfort you and your family. God bless. Jim Ruta

Condolence: It is with sadness, but hope and consolation that we say goodbye to Al. He was a great help through many years service with Clarica, and through his faithful leadership as an elder at Grandview. In all those years, his faith, caring, and clarity of thought were part of a solid foundation that meant a lot to us as a young couple. Our prayers for the family, and our thanks for having gotten to know him.

Condolence: Carol, children, grandchildren and great grandchildren,
Brian and I extend our sympathy to each of you.
My big brother Al was one of a kind! Although he left home while I was very young; I recall that it was a big event when he, Carol and children came east for a visit!! One of the most cherished times I had with Al took place a few years back while visiting with he and Carol at their cozy nest on Midland Dr.. We sat on the veranda and he shared stories which enlightened me to who my big brother was! Al was always energetic, intelligent, with leadership characteristics and carried a strong faith in God. Over the years I've developed a great respect for Al, even though we would clash while working in the kitchen together! I always think of Al when I do a jigsaw puzzle! Did you know there are tips in finding the right piece? I have learned much from my brother by the way he lived. The most valuable lesson though is to stay strong in my faith in God.
He loved each of you so much! Yes, Al will be missed, but because of his faith in Jesus Christ; he is alive and well and praise God for that.
