Dear Carol, We were saddened to hear of Al’s passing, but give thanks to God for being given the privilege to fellowship with him at Grandview. Al was such a gentle, kind, sweet man and he took such a sincere interest in our lives and we always enjoyed speaking with him. Al’s devotion to his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ was more than evidenced in his warm, loving spirit as he actively lived out his faith. Now, as we remember it is his gain to be in our Lord’s presence, may God give you an even more keen sense of His presence in the loss you feel, and a comfort and assurance in knowing your separation is not final. We love you and will be praying for you and your family as you remember and pay tribute to the legacy of faithfulness that Al has left for us all!
