The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Alan Charters can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolence: Was so sorry to hear of Al's passing. I was on 415 MP Sqn. in Summerside when Al was down there as well in the early 60's. I always remember him as a gentleman and a good navigator, good man . Talked once with him a number of years ago when I heard he was in KW area and I was there too and now in Cambridge. So sorry I didn't touch base with him and catch up on old stories of S'Side Please accept my condolences.

Condolence: I am so sorry to hear this news. I met Al through the Grand River Bridge Club and he was willing to play with a rookie. He was very kind and helpful, but always keeping a sparkle in his eye to go along with a sarcastic comment. It must be especially difficult to deal with this loss at this time. My thoughts are with all his family.
