Sanders, Jack:
Passed away surrounded by family on Saturday, October 12th, 2019 at his home at the age of 67.
Beloved husband, best friend and devoted partner to Maggie for 47 years. Loving father of Angela, Michelle (Glyn) Wright, Matt (Caitlin Bovee) and Dan (Amber). Cherished grandpa of Helena, Rowyn, Trystan and Violet. Will be remembered by his friends, brothers, sisters, and their families.
Jack was an adventurer at heart, always striving to learn something new. He contributed to his community in many ways. He and Maggie welcomed refugees into their home, he helped individuals with special needs and anyone else who could use a helping hand. Jack loved working with his wife and enjoying the simple pleasures life had to offer together. He loved spending time in nature, particularly tending to his garden and ponds. Private cremation has taken place.
Jack's family will receive relatives and friends from 10 - 10:45 a.m. on Sunday, October 20, 2019 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467, with a Celebration of Life in the chapel at 11:00 am. Reception to follow.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to a charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
