Watson, Jonathon:
After a courageous battle, died among friends at Grand River Hospital on March 13, 2019 at the age of 32. He is preceded in death by his parents Kevin and Betty Watson, and his sister Crystal Ditner (nee Watson). He will be fondly remembered by his children and missed by the children of his friends who he cared for.
Jonathon was born on September 23, 1986 in Kitchener, Ontario to Kevin and Betty Watson. At the age of 5 he moved to Alberta. He then spent some of his adolescence on Manitoulin Island before moving back to Kitchener where he was born. He was a generous, kind individual who was passionate about cooking and loved his dog, Zander. Jon was an accomplished customer service representative, enjoying the connections he made with the community around him. His love for cooking has permeated his circle of friends and family.
There will be many heavy hearts in the coming months as his friends and pets remember him. Jonathon was always grateful for the friends in his life who supported him throughout his many hardships.
A memorial gathering will take place from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, March 23, 2019, at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Kitchener-Waterloo Humane Society would be appreciated (cards available at the funeral home).
