Sonnenburg, Ernie:
Passed away unexpectedly with family by his side on Monday, November 25, 2019 at the age of 76. Beloved husband of Pat (nee Zinger) for 47 years. Loving father of Tania (Robert Proctor) and Christopher (Coralee). Proud Opa of Ruth and Eric. Dear brother of Lilli (Nino) and the late Richard. Survived by sister-in-law Therese. Fondly remembered by the Zinger family and all of his nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the 3rd floor nursing staff at St. Mary's Hospital.
Ernie's family will receive relatives and friends from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Thursday, November 28, 2019 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. Memorial Service in the chapel on Friday, November 29, 2019 at 11 a.m. Reception to follow. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home). Visit www.henrywalser.com for Ernie's memorial.
