Obituary for Arthur Rogers Ladzik

Ladzik, Arthur R.
It is with saddened hearts that we announce the passing of Arthur Ladzik (76) on May 20, 2021 at Lisaard House surrounded by his loving family. He is survived by his beloved wife Kathy of 44 years and two daughters Kimberley Ladzik and Lindsay (Ian) Sprague. He will be greatly missed by his four grandchildren Aiden Samms, Gavyn Ladzik, Paige and Will Sprague with whom he spent many special times. He will be lovingly remembered by his sister and brother-in-law Janet (Wolfgang) Altmann and his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Helen (Larry) Raiche and Mary Ann (Gary) Mackela. Arthur will be missed by his aunts and uncle and many cousins. His many nieces and nephews will remember their fun loving uncle Art. Predeceased by his parents Arthur Ladzik Sr. (2003) and Angela (Bezruki) Ladzik (2011).
He was devoted to his family and always remembered special occasions. Arthur was a member of St. Aloysius Catholic Parish for over 40 years. He was a great lover of nature and he found many interesting trails for hiking. He loved photography and showed his creativity through many works of art. Arthur enjoyed the peace that fishing and being in nature provided and shared this love with his two daughters on many occasions. Despite his struggles with mental health Art was very social and had a wonderful sense of humour that will be cherished by his many friends and family.
Special thanks for the wonderful care provided to Arthur at Grand River Hospital and the caring and dedicated staff at Lisaard House.
