September 30, 1930 - November 17, 2019

Passed away on Sunday November 17, 2019 at Sunnyside Home at the age of 89.

Beloved wife of Gordon Kraft for 67 years. Loving mother to Paul (Roberta), Richard (Heather), James (Deborah) Linda and Bruce. Cherished grandmother of Kerry (Jason), Rachel (Johann), Leah (Kyle), Laura (Jason), Elise (Christopher), Colleen (Judson), Lindsay, Joshua (Jessica), Benjamin (Samantha), Tyler (Kristinna), Rebecca, Conrad, Rachel, Jeremy (Jennifer) and Kevin; great-grandmother of Jack, Susan, Mason, Zoey, Michael, Violet, Theodore and Cole. Also survived by sister-in-law Mickie Kraft and many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her parents Gordon and Viola Kuehl, brother Merrald (Margaret), sister Geraldine (Ramsay) MacDonald and great-grandchild Anna.

Phyrl was born in Hagarty Township and moved with her family to Kitchener at the age of 8. She enjoyed working for 27 years as the secretary at Suddaby Public School then retired to enjoy life and family at the cottage. She devoted her life to her faith and helped start Benton Street Baptist's sister church, Bethel Baptist. There she served many years as a Sunday School teacher, a Pioneer Girl Leader, a choir member and prayer group partner.

Friends are invited to share their memories of Phyrl with her family from 2:00 pm - 4:00 p.m. & 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick Street, Kitchener, 519-749-8467. A funeral service will be held in the chapel of the funeral home on Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. Reception to follow. Interment at Parkview Cemetery 335 University Ave., Waterloo.

As expressions of sympathy, donations to the Sunnyside Foundation or Benton Street Baptist Church or charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family (cards available at the funeral home).
