Obituary for Helen Ilona Huber (Matosevics)

Helen Ilona Huber (Matosevics)
Huber, Helen Ilona
January 21, 1922 - September 13, 2019

It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Helen on September 13, 2019 at Chartwell Long Term Care Residence, Elmira where she received compassionate and loving care. This care made her final journey so peaceful after living more than 97 years.

Helen was born in Budapest, Hungary January 21, 1922.

She was the beloved wife of the late Mendel (2010) with whom she shared 52 years of marriage.

Loving mother of Peter Viragh (Diane), Ivan Viragh (Virginia), Christina Huber, Jeno Huber (Katie) and Lary Huber

Helen will be missed and remembered by her grandchildren Annette Viragh Morton, Brigette Finke, Randy Viragh and Sandy Viragh and her great-grandchildren.

Helen was a gentle and kind woman who enjoyed spending time with family. She was loved by all who knew her. She will be fondly remembered by family and treasured friends, for her kind outlook on life. She had a gentle smile, charm, strength and courage to live at home for more than 95 years. Her greatest enjoyment was her dog Sasha and the endless cultivating, vegetable garden and many flowers. May she find in death the peace, contentment and serenity that eluded her in life.

Helen's family will receive relatives and friends on Wednesday, September 18, 2019 from 11-12 noon at the Henry Walser Funeral Home, 507 Frederick St., Kitchener 519-749-8467. Memories will be shared at 11:45 am followed by a reception.

Interment will take place at Parkview Cemetery.
